Leader in sustainable natural rubber
SIPH's main activity is the production and marketing of natural rubber. SIPH's rubber plantations are all located in West Africa. Natural rubber remains essential in the tyre industry.
Among companies operating rubber plantations and/or primary rubber processing facilities, SIPH is one of the key players actively contributing to research programs supported by the Institut Français du Caoutchouc, of which it is a founding and full member. This commitment is reflected through financial contributions as well as the provision of operational infrastructure.
As a member of the GPSNR, SIPH must ensure that its operations comply with GPSNR requirements, including having verified due diligence by 2027.
This commitment highlights our Group's determination to play a major role in the sustainability of the African and global rubber industry and in the smooth running of the GPSNR, of which it is a founding member. It is also worth noting SIPH's participation in various GPSNR working groups and task forces with five high-level representatives.
