Developing the rubber business

SAPH, subsidiary of SIPH and SIFCA, has launched the construction work of its 6th natural rubber process factory in Soubré.

The official announcement was made Thursday April 8th 2021 during a press conference at SAPH headquarters in Abidjan, in presence of the Minister of State, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Kobénan Kouassi ADJOUMANI, of SAPH’s CEO, Mr. Jean-Louis BILLON, of the Minister of Water and Forests and President of the Regional Council of the Nawa (South West), Mr. Alain-Richard DONWAHI and partners of the projects.

This large investment worth CFA 17.095 000 000 000 will allow SAPH, leader of the rubber business in Côte d’Ivoire, to raise its industrial capacity to 10T/h, or 60 000T/year.

Onwards, this factory will generate 600 direct and indirect jobs, along with business opportunities for the 10 000 rubber farmers of the area.
