Subcontractors awareness against business corruption
On Saturday June 5th, 2021, while visiting the Bongo site, SAPH MD Marc GENOT led an awareness campaign against corporate corruption intended for subcontractors operating within the scope of the IFU. He took the opportunity to indicate the internal measures the Sapin Law, clients and rating agencies require SAPH to put in place to fight corruption.
He then urged the present subcontractors not to offer, privilege or supply valuable objects in exchange for contracts; anyone caught will be subjected to the rigor of the law for these reprehensible acts. Mr. Marc GENOT also invited the subcontractors to denounce any SAPH agent, notwithstanding his or her title, requesting such benefits in exchange for a contract.
This session is part of the activities of the SAPH Ethics Committee which will include awareness raising sessions against corruption and fraud in several target populations such as:
- Subcontractors and suppliers;
- Management and Supervisory Staff (PCAM);
- SAPH agents in contact with farmers.
