On 17 and 18 July 2026, SAPH handed over two new school facilities to the communities of the Bettié Integrated Agricultural Unit, directly benefiting 571 pupils.

In Apprompron, three nursery classrooms and a headteacher’s office (24,995,874 CFA francs) were inaugurated for the benefit of 121 children (58 boys, 63 girls). This project forms part of the fight against child labour.

In N’Grah, three primary school classrooms and an office (23,187,147 CFA francs) will benefit 450 pupils, divided between Primary School I (200 pupils) and Primary School II (250 pupils).

Indoor and outdoor games, cash donations, SANIA products and an electric tricycle donated to the ANOUAZERE women’s association rounded off the handover.

The ceremonies, led by Ms Billon, Director of Communications and Sustainable Development (DIRCOM DD), were attended by Mr Edi Anet, Director of the Bettié Integrated Agricultural Unit, administrative authorities (sub-prefect), traditional leaders and local farmers – SAPH’s key partners – as well as Professor Adima Augustin, Special Adviser to the Minister for National Education.

Ms Billon emphasised the importance of building lasting relationships with communities and the role of women on the plantations, encouraging their access to the profession of rubber tapper and to training.

Miss Adou Hermine (Technical and Rubber Procurement Department) advised the plantation owners to obtain their registration numbers through official channels, whilst Miss Koné Kadiatou (Civil Engineering) presented the buildings whose construction she had supervised.

These inaugurations reaffirm SAPH’s commitment to the communities of Apprompron and N’Grah, which have populations of over 7,000 and 2,500 respectively, as a concrete response to the concerns raised during previous visits.
