MICHELIN visits SIFCA Group’s rubber sites

From January 8th to 10th, a delegation from SIFCA lead by the executive committee welcomed a work mission from its partner Michelin.

The visit started in Côte d’Ivoire, in the Integrated Farm Unit of Bongo (SAPH). The program included visits in plantations and nurseries along with social infrastructures (employee’s housings and health center).

Following this, the trip lead them to Ghana on Thursday, January 9th, where both delegations continued their work meetings, meetings with the farmer communities and infrastructure visits: factories, Abura’s health center and plantations.

This was an opportunity for both partners to discuss ongoing agricultural, industrial and social projects with our colleagues. The visit ended by the commissioning of the new GREL 2 factory in presence of SIFCA and Michelin shareholders.
