RENL gets ISO IMS certification.

After more than 17 months of team effort and hard work, Rubber Estates Nigeria Limited (RENL) has been certified to Integrated Management Systems consisting of Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015), Environment Management System (ISO 14001:2015) and Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001:2018). ISO is an internationally recognized standard achieved by organizations.

The intended outcome of RENL for the ISO IMS certification can be summarized as follows:

• ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System: the outcome is that we are capable of demonstrating our ability to consistently provide quality rubber that meet customer requirements, and applicable statutory and regulatory obligations.
• ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System: Our aim is to be committed to producing, transporting, and selling our products in the international market without causing harm to the environment. As such, we continually improve our environmental performance, fulfill the set environmental objectives and conform to all compliance obligations.
• ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System: We wish to develop a safety culture to prevent injury and ill health to all relevant internal and external stakeholders, provide safe and healthy workplaces while also conforming to applicable regulatory, statutory and legal compliances.

The Management Committee would like to thank all the staff for the commitment and hard work that led to this important achievement. This certification comes with more responsibilities for continual improvement. Therefore, let us continue our efforts and use the ISO IMS system to improve the management of the company everyday.
