RENL management visits host communities, asks for sustenance of peaceful coexistence.

The tour of the MD to all sites, twice a year, is also an opportunity to visit the host communities to RENL. In November 2022, like on the previous visits, the MD and his entourage paid a courtesy visit to the traditional rulers in all locations of RENL. This visit was also a good occasion for the MD to fulfil another promise, which is the participation at least once a year, to meetings between RENL and relations committees. The relations committees are organs put in place by the communities to liaise with RENL on their behalf. These committees meet with RENL Corporate Affairs Management on quarterly basis, and play an important role in the peaceful coexistence between RENL and its host communities.

In his address to the traditional rulers, the MD, Olivier Odoukou thanked them for the peace and support to RENL’s operations. He said that, the current economic situation in Nigeria and in the World is difficult, but the peace provided by the Communities has enabled RENL to conduct its operations smoothly and remain in business throughout the year 2022. He added that this peaceful collaboration is the only way RENL can achieve good performance and give back to the communities, through its corporate social responsibility policy and package.

In their various capacities, the traditional rulers assured RENL’s MD of their continuous support and commitment to the overall growth of the Company. They also thanked the company for its CSR policy towards their communities, and this approach of come closer to them.
